Fun October Happenings in Mt Laurel
The 14th annual Mt Laurel Fall Festival is our most well-known event in October, but certainly not our only event. Here are a few additional October happenings in the active Town of Mt Laurel.
The Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builder’s Fall Community Showcase
October 10th and 17th from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
October 11th and 18th from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Tour the masterfully designed Cherry Laurel model home during the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders’ Fall Community Showcase. Open two weekends (October 10-11; October 17-18), the showcase gives visitors the opportunity to speak with Mt Laurel home specialists and explore designer Kay Green’s elegant interiors. In addition, guests may enter a raffle to win a prize bag featuring gift certificates from Mt Laurel stores and restaurants.
Fall in Love with your Community: Shop Local
Thursday, October 15th from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Shop local and fall in love with your community! On Thursday Oct. 15 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Simply Infused of Mt Laurel will be open late for you to socialize and browse their store. There will also be local pop-up vendors and other Mt Laurel businesses that will have extended hours for this event. Come out and enjoy shopping in this fun and social atmosphere.
Mt Laurel Movie Night presents E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial
Friday, October 23rd at 7 p.m.
Our Mt Laurel Movie Nights were rained out in August so we rescheduled this showing of the sci-fi favorite E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial just in time for Halloween! Come out in your best Halloween costume and watch this Steven Spielberg classic. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a free screening under the stars in beautiful Bryson Square. Get here early to eat dinner at one of Mt Laurel’s delicious restaurants, Mr. Harry’s Chickin De-Lux, Area 41 Pizza, Shiki Sakura, or the Townhouse Tea Shop.
The movie will start at 7 p.m. and the Friends of the Mt Laurel Library will sell popcorn, glow sticks, drinks, and other concessions with proceeds going to support the Mt Laurel Library.
Pure Barre in the Park
Sunday, October 25th at 4:30 p.m.
Join Pure Barre 280 for a free outdoor Pure Barre class at Mt Laurel’s beautiful Turtleback Park! Bring your yoga mat and water and get ready to lift, tone, and burn!
