Creating the Southern Living Idea House: A Start-to-Finish Video
In the months leading up to the opening of the Southern Living Idea House in Mt Laurel, we’ve been introducing you to the fabulous design team that created it. We’ve interviewed Bryan Phillips with Mt Laurel’s Town Builder’s Inc., architect Bill Ingram, and landscape architect David Brush. We are also continuing our series of interviews with the 5 nationally renowned interior designers, Amy Berry, Lauren Leiss, Ashley Gilbreath, Margaret Kirkland, and Mark D. Sikes.
When construction started, our team aimed to record all of the progress happening on this corner lot in our community, so we set up several time-lapse cameras to capture the action. Now that the Idea House is open for visitors, we are excited to share our latest video, “Creating the Southern Living Idea House.” Catch a glimpse of the hard work from the talented Idea House team and witness this gorgeous home unfold from start to finish.
This home is full of craftsman details, thoughtful touches, and new design ideas, so the best way to see it is in person. If you haven’t already, start planning your trip to the 2016 Southern Living Idea House. The Idea House is now open to the public, and you can find all the details—from hours of operation to ticket price—here.
